Lopez had to be removed from Wednesday's contest after taking a pitch to the hand, and he's now officially listed as day-to-day. It's possible the Royals hold Lopez out of the lineup Thursday, though it will likely depend on how the 28-year-old infielder is feeling. Lopez is slashing .128/.277/.179 since the beginning of June.
