Gurriel isn't in the Royals' lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins.
Gurriel has gotten off to a solid start through his first four games with the Royals, going 3-for-9 with two RBI and a run scored. He'll get a breather Saturday while Robbie Grossman serves as Kansas City's designated hitter and bats eighth.
