Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 1 for 4 and hit his first home run of the season in his team's 5-3 loss to the Indians Wednesday.
Perez was 0 for 21 in his previous five games coming into Wednesday's matchup, and outside of the home run, he continued to struggle, striking out three times. He has hit .213/.289/.347 in 75 at-bats.
