Nolin elected free agency after he was outrighted to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Nolin made his return to the majors during the 2021 campaign and posted a 4.39 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 26.2 innings across 10 appearances (five starts). The 31-year-old will now be free to seek out other opportunities during the offseason.
