The Dodgers extended Hernandez a one-year, $21.05 million qualifying offer Monday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Hernandez has professed a desire to remain with the Dodgers, but he will likely decline the qualifying offer and seek a multi-year pact in free agency. If he winds up in another organization, the Dodgers will receive a draft pick.
