Dingler isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Dingler will step out of the lineup Saturday after going 0-for-3 with three strikeouts and a hit-by-pitch in Friday's contest. Jake Rogers will fill in as the Tigers' catcher and bat ninth.
