All three hits were singles for Torres, who continues to do a good job of getting on base for Detroit. The infielder has six hits over his last three games, and he's slashing .259/.364/.395 for the season. The .364 on-base percentage would be a new career high for Torres after he recorded a .330 figure last year with the Yankees.
