The Tigers outrighted Krol to Triple-A Toledo on Thursday after he cleared waivers.
Krol will remain in the organization after the Tigers dropped him from the 40-man roster earlier this week. The 30-year-old lefty reliever made five appearances for Detroit, working 4.2 innings and giving up two earned runs.
