Rogers isn't in the Tigers' lineup Saturday versus the Giants.
Rogers has split time evenly behind the plate with Dillon Dingler ever since the latter arrived in the majors in late July. He'll step aside once again Saturday while Dingler catches for opener Alex Faedo.
