Baez (personal) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.
It's the third straight game that Baez has been out of the lineup following a death in the family, although he did pinch hit in Sunday's contest. The Tigers have not made a roster move involving Baez and at this point it's possible they won't. Zack Short is playing shortstop Tuesday.
