Tiger pitchers Justin Verlander (triceps) and Bruce Rondon (biceps) are both scheduled to throw bullpen sessions on Monday, with Verlander set to throw around 45 pitches and Rondon around 25, reports the Detroit Free Press.
Verlander has been on the disabled list all season with a right triceps strain while Rondon has been out since September 2013 following Tommy John surgery.
"If he comes out of that bullpen all right, the next step could possibly be a simulated game," manager Brad Ausmus said to MLive.com. "I don't know. I don't look past today. Well, I guess I don't look past tomorrow since I gave you tomorrow's stuff."
Both pitchers have thrown previous bullpen sessions as part of their rehab.
