The Tigers activated Meadows (arm) from the 60-day injured list Monday.
Meadows was close to returning at the end of the season, but there wasn't enough time left for him to make it back after he began a hitting progression in September. He should be in store for a mostly normal offseason after suffering a radial fracture in his left forearm back in April.
