Olson (shoulder) is trending towards a return early next week in Kansas City, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
McCosky hints than an announcement will come Saturday, and given that Tarik Skubal has been confirmed to start Wednesday, that leaves Monday or Tuesday as potential dates for Olson to make his return to the rotation. He struck out five across three scoreless frames in his rehab start Tuesday for Triple-A Toledo.
