Nunez cleared waivers Monday and was outrighted to Triple-A Toledo.
Nunez hit a solidly above-average .256/.324/.492 for the Orioles last season but has only gotten into 14 games for the Tigers this year and has struggled to a .189/.218/.472 line in those limited opportunities. Apparently other teams aren't buying into his success last year, either, so he'll remain with the Tigers as organizational depth.
