Rortvedt was recalled from Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
The 23-year-old will rejoin the Twins on Sunday with Max Kepler (hamstring) landing on the injured list. Rortvedt will provide catching depth behind Mitch Garver and Willians Astudillo.
