Solano started at first base and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's win over Kansas City. He's hitting .313 (5-for-16) this season.
Solano has started the last four games at DH and first base amid several injuries, including Max Kepler (knee) and Joey Gallo (side). Solano may remain in the starting lineup while he stays hot but ultimately should return to a reserve role when the bat cools off.
