The Twins activated Ryan (glute) from the 15-day injured list Monday.
After missing the past month with a left glute strain, Ryan will make his return to the Twins' rotation with a start Monday in Detroit. The right-hander threw only 42 pitches in his lone rehab start, so his workload will be truncated against the Tigers. Connor Prielipp is a possibility to eat some innings out of the Minnesota bullpen after Ryan is done Monday.
