Ryan (glute) will throw a live bullpen session of one inning Wednesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Ryan continues to progress in his recovery from a left glute strain that landed him on the 15-day injured list Aug. 7. The Twins will have a better sense of the right-hander's timeline after Wednesday's session, and Twins manager Derek Shelton confirmed Monday that Ryan will embark on a rehab assignment when cleared to do so.
