Berrios couldn't get out of the first inning Monday in a no-decision against the Tigers, as he got just two outs before allowing seven runs on three hits and four walks.
The Twins managed to score eight runs to take Berrios off the hook, but he just couldn't find the strike zone. Berrios threw just 18 strikes out of his 39 pitches to sink his start in the harbor. Berrios had walked eight batters in just 14.1 innings entering this start and clearly has to tighten up his control before he can live up to the hype in Minnesota's rotation.
