Berrios (2-3) lasted just two innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits and one walk while striking out one in Thursday's loss to the Astros.
Berrios remains one of the game's top pitching prospects, but has struggled with his command since being called up to the bigs in late April. He's made seven career starts, but has yet to get past six innings while posting an unsightly 9.32 ERA and 1.89 WHIP. Thursday, Berrios was hit hard in a four-run second inning that earned him the early hook, and his second straight loss. The 22-year-old right-hander will have a favorable matchup against the Braves, the league's worst offense, as he looks to rebound in his next start on Wednesday.
