Bell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
The Twins will hold Bell out of the starting nine for the second Sunday in a row in what amounts to a planned rest day. Byron Buxton will get a day off from playing center field but will stick in the starting nine as Bell's replacement at designated hitter.
