Garver (back) played catch on the field ahead of Tuesday's game against Cleveland, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Garver has been dealing with a lower back strain late August. He's currently eligible to return from the 10-day injured list, although the Twins haven't yet revealed a timetable for his return. It's encouraging to see him resume baseball activities Tuesday, but Ryan Jeffers and Ben Rortvedt should continue to see time behind the plate in his absence.
