Nolasco allowed four runs on five hits over 7.1 innings in a no-decision Tuesday against Cleveland. He struck out nine.
Nolasco has 16 strikeouts over 14 innings in his last two starts, but four of Cleveland's five hits off Nolasco were extra-base hits as he was punished hard the few times he missed in the zone. Nolasco was otherwise excellent, as he threw 71 strikes in 102 pitches and induced 10 swinging strikes. Nolasco owns a 3.25 ERA thus far but has struggled with home runs in his Twins career; entering this season, he had allowed 25 home runs in 35 starts with a 5.64 ERA.
