Twins pitcher Ricky Nolasco will see a specialist for his ailing ankle, but the Twins don't believe it will require surgery, per the St. Paul Pioneer-Press.

Nolasco, who has been sidelined since the beginning of June, felt pain in the ankle Sunday and had to cut his throwing session short. He was thought to be nearing a rehab assignment, which might now be delayed.
