Rogers (1-0) tossed two perfect innings to get the win against the Rays on Thursday. He struck out two.
Rogers bailed out Phil Hughes with a solid effort coming from the bullpen. The 25-year-old lefty lowered his ERA to 3.27, and he has allowed only one run in his last seven outings (9.1 innings). He has 10 strikeouts and just one walk in 11 frames this year, and there's a chance his value rises quickly if he keeps pitching like this on a consistent basis.
