Jose Abreu was the hero for the White Sox in their extra-inning victory over the Blue Jays on Wednesday. Abreu initially gave the team an early 2-0 lead with a two-run double in the third inning.

Then, after the Blue Jays tied the game in the ninth, Abreu tripled and later scored in the 10th inning, helping to secure the 5-3 win. He finished a home run shy of the cycle, finishing with a three-hit performance.

Though his 17-game hitting streak recently came to an end, Abreu hasn't stopped hitting. He has now hit safely in 20 of his last 22 games, lifting his average up to .284 on the year.
