The White Sox have placed pitchers Chris Sale (foot), Jake Petricka (right forearm), and Eric Surkamp (back strain) on the 15-day DL, retroactive to March 27, the team announced Sunday.
Sale missed all of spring training after breaking a bone in his foot in late February.
