White Sox rookie starter Carlos Rodon pitched well against the Mariners on Saturday. The left-hander went seven solid innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits. He walked four and struck out eight, throwing 66 of his 116 pitches for strikes.

All three runs Rodon allow came in the sixth inning, but a fielding error in the inning cost Rodon two of those runs.

Rodon did not factor in the final decision, as the White Sox were able to rally back for the 6-3 victory in extra innings.
