White Sox starter Jose Quintana (2-4) was solid in seven innings or work Tuesday, allowing two runs on eight hits but took the loss against the Indians.
Since allowing nine runs in four innings during an April 19 start, Quintana has a 2.18 ERA over his last five starts.
"[Quintana] was great," White Sox manager Robin Ventura said. "They just scratched across a couple more than we did."
Quintana returns to the mound for his next start Sunday against the Twins.
