Benintendi went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and two walks in Monday's 8-4 win over the Angels.
Benintendi opened the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning. He added an additional RBI on a groundout in the second and popped a solo shot in the seventh for the White Sox's last run of the game. The outfielder has gone 12-for-34 (.353) with four homers and 10 RBI over his nine games, lifting his season slash line to .228/.292/.400 with 19 homers, 59 RBI, 48 runs scored and three stolen bases over 127 contests. The White Sox haven't hesitated to give younger players some chances this month, but Benintendi remains in a starting role in left field.
