Montgomery is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cleveland.
He's now been absent from the lineup for two of the past three games, and his last two starts have come from the No. 9 spot in the lineup. Montgomery is just 4-for-34 (.118) at the plate in September. Tristan Peters will slide over to right field, and Brenton Doyle will start in center field Tuesday against Cleveland southpaw Foster Griffin.
