Manager Rick Renteria said that Rodon's (biceps) simulated game went well and that he's ready for the next phase of his recovery process, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

This is a good development for the young southpaw, although the White Sox are hesitant to say that this "next phase" is a rehab assignment. This could simply mean that he'll continue to ramp up his pitch count in a more controlled environment (such as another simulated game), but the club is remaining fairly mum on the topic. Rodon still seems to be on pace for a return in the middle or toward the end of June.
