Flexen allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out five during the loss to Detroit.

Flexen gave up a run in each of the first two innings Friday but settled down and turned in a quality start, his first since July 29 -- through his first 9.2 innings in August, he had a 9.31 ERA. Flexen has not earned a win since May 8. He'll carry a 5.34 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to come at home against Texas.
