Martin (finger) will return from the injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Astros, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Martin landed on the injured list in mid-August due to a blister on his finger, and after throwing five shutout innings during a rehab outing at Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday, he's received the green light to return to Chicago's rotation. He'll be welcomed back by an Astros offense that has posted a .684 OPS since Aug. 1.
