Jimenez said Tuesday that he's progressing faster than expected in his return from hamstring surgery, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Jimenez underwent the procedure in late April and was expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks. It's unclear if his optimism is shared by the White Sox organization, but it's still better to hear that he feels good than to hear the alternative.
