The White Sox reinstated Leasure (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte.
Leasure allowed three earned runs over 4.1 innings during his rehab assignment with Charlotte, and he will now remain in the minors despite being ostensibly recovered from his shoulder impingement. The 26-year-old carries a 6.32 ERA and 1.60 WHIP through 31.1 innings in the majors this season and most likely won't make another appearance for the White Sox over the final eight games of the year.
