Abreu went 3-for-4 against the Indians on Wednesday for his second straight three-hit performance.

Abreu did not have a three-hit game on the season entering play Tuesday, but he now has two. Manager Robin Ventura has made an effort to alleviate pressure from Abreu, including giving him a few days off earlier in the week and dropping him from third to fifth in the lineup. The effectiveness of those moves remains to be seen. However, he does appear to be seeing the ball a bit better, and his hits may travel a bit more as the summer heats up.
