Abreu went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's loss to the Marlins.
He continues to try making up for lost time in August, as Abreu is now slashing .385/.418/.635 on the month with three home runs and nine RBI in 12 games. It's been a very disappointing season for the slugger, but he might still have just enough time left to salvage his numbers with a late power surge.
