Quintana (2-5) allowed four runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out four in Sunday's 4-0 loss to Baltimore.
Quintana certainly wasn't at his best in the loss, but his mates couldn't do much with the Orioles' Chris Tillman, who had been hammered by the White Sox's Triple-A affiliate five days prior. The South Siders have supported Quintana with just 2.6 runs per game in his seven starts, so he's had to be brilliant to win, and that hasn't often been the case this year. His next scheduled start comes Friday against the Padres, who rank 29th in MLB with a .217 team batting average.
