The White Sox re-signed Carela (elbow) to a minor-league contract April 19.
Carela was released by the White Sox earlier this month but is back in the organization on a minor-league deal as he continues his recovery from Tommy John surgery. He's not expected to be ready to pitch in games until around midseason of 2026.
