White Sox's Junior Perez: Slugs first MLB homer

Perez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run during Friday's loss to the Tigers.

It took just two games for Perez to go deep for the first time in his big-league career, and it came against none other than back-to-back Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal. The 24-year-old Perez is up with the big club to serve as depth with Austin Hays (calf) and Everson Pereira (concussion) both on the injured list and will likely return to the minors once Chicago's outfield unit starts to return to full health.
