Bush did not factor into the decision in Monday's 12-2 win over the Yankees, allowing two runs on six hits and seven walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.
The Chicago rookie miraculously escaped with only two runs on his register after allowing 13 batters to reach base. Bush's track record of wildness during the minors this season - issuing 42 free passes in 99.2 innings across two stops -- has followed him to the majors, as he's now walked 12 against five strikeouts in his first 8.2 big-league innings. Until the 24-year-old can limit the walks, he makes for an extremely risky fantasy option. He currently lines up to make his next start against the Astros in Houston this weekend.
