Teel is expected to miss six-to-12 weeks due to left high-ankle sprain, MLB.com reports.
Teel was placed on the injured list earlier Monday, but his timeline to return was unclear. The White Sox have since announced that Teel will be sidelined at least six weeks, or until the beginning of September. He's had a frustrating 2026 season, as he was unable to make his debut until June 22 due to a hamstring injury he suffered during the World Baseball Classic.
