White was returned to Triple-A Charlotte following the White Sox's doubleheader against St. Louis on Thursday.
White pitched 2.1 scoreless innings in the second game, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out one. It was his second appearance in the majors this season, and he's likely to be back with the big-league club at some point this summer if injuries occur.
