McGuire went 1-for-3 with a walk and a double Sunday against the Astros.
McGuire was in the lineup for the first time in the White Sox's last three games, previously giving way to Seby Zavala. He responded to the opportunity with a one-out double in the second inning, but he was ultimately stranded there. McGuire has a modest five-game hitting streak and has also tallied three doubles in that span, so it's possible he begins to reclaim playing time with Yasmani Grandal (back) sidelined.
