Kahnle was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Kahnle was only a short-term call-up for the White Sox, who had been without David Robertson (personal) the last couple days. The 26-year-old made one appearance during his stay with the White Sox, throwing a scoreless inning Friday against the Orioles.
