Kahnle will remain with the White Sox following Monday's doubleheader, Don Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
The relief pitcher acted as the 26th man Monday, but ultimately he'll remain on the 25-man roster after Erik Johnson was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte following his lackluster start in Game 2. That said, Kahnle will likely be facing a trip back to Charlotte in the near future.
