Jerry Sands beat out Ishikawa for the White Sox's final roster spot, the Daily Herald reports.
The White Sox have yet to announce Ishikawa's fate, but if he remains in the organization, he will most likely begin the year at Triple-A Charlotte. Ishikawa looked to have a better spring than Sands, but the White Sox placed a higher value on Sands' pop and defensive versatility.
