Moncada (adductor) has been running since being pulled off his minor-league rehab assignment but is still "feeling something there" during his recovery process, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
Moncada was returned from his rehab assignment July 22 due to "anticipated soreness" and it wasn't viewed as a setback in his recovery from a left adductor strain. However, the third baseman hasn't shown any significant signs of improvement and is still dealing with lingering soreness. The White Sox have already indicated they don't intend to rush Moncada back, and a timeline for return has yet to be established for the 29-year-old.
