Putnam (elbow) will be available to pitch Wednesday, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Putnam hasn't pitched since June 1 as he's dealt with a bout of elbow soreness, but it appears the situation wasn't anything overly serious. He's been a mostly solid option out of the Chicago bullpen thus far, striking out 25 over 23 innings while managing a 2.35 ERA.
